HISTORY
Our Story – A Cape Breton Tradition Gisele’s Inn has been welcoming guests since the 1970s. The original home was built in the 1800s by local builder Neil MacNeil, and it has a long and proud history. In 1976, Hans and Helen Sievers bought the property and turned it into a small 23-room inn with a fine dining restaurant. Over time, the Sievers family expanded Gisele’s to include 78 comfortable guest rooms and a larger dining room. It became one of Cape Breton’s top places to stay and eat. New Owners, Same Great Experience In 2017, the Khan family purchased Gisele’s Inn. They fully renovated the property in 2018, keeping its warm charm while upgrading it for modern comfort. Today, the Khans continue to offer the friendly service and high quality Gisele’s is known for. Meet the Owners Mr. Munawar Khan and his family live on-site and are here to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
